Our talented chefs, Michal Němec and Michal Vávra, represented KaM JU at the 4th Annual International University Canteen Championship held at the Czech University of Life Sciences in Prague on June 17–18, 2025.
The theme of this year’s competition was “Think Globally, Eat Locally”, and participating teams were challenged to prepare a two-course menu using mandatory ingredients: potatoes, chicken, curd cheese, and apples.
We are thrilled to share that our chefs won 1st place in the category of "Nutritional Balance" with the following menu:
Main course: Chicken roulade stuffed with spinach and tomatoes, served with mashed potatoes
Dessert: Curd cheese cake with apples and streusel topping
